Do you provide WiFi Access ? (on trial basis)
Rani Mahal provides free wireless access (Guest_Rani_Mahal) to the Internet for our guests. Please contact the office for password.
When do I book in order to reserve space in Rani Mahal ?
As soon as you know you need to book space, please contact us ( O: 4364 221777, M: 99 44 502247). It's never too early. We'll do our best to accommodate last minute requests, as well. Please check online calendar
Do you have guest rooms with attached bath room?
The Rani Mahal has 5 air conditioned guest rooms and a multipurpose mini hall with individual attached bath rooms. Two of the rooms and the mini hall have water heaters for hot shower.
Do you rent conference center for a few hours ?
Rani Mahal provides events by Muhurtha Day, Normal Full Day and Hourly (5 hours minimum)
Do you have sufficient cooking vessels ?
Rani Mahal has a large collection of new cooking utensils sufficient for more than 2000 guests. Also we have puja vessels for your celebrations. There is no additional rental cost for both cookware and puja vessels.
What is your cancellation policy ?
Refund will be provided based on the number of days in advance a written request is submitted by the guest.
What is the typical electricity consumption in units ?
Average electricity consumption is about 300 units for one day marriage function
Do you allow temporary hoardings/digital banners ?
Temporary hoardings or digital banners are not allowed inside Rani Mahal. For the safety of the guests and to protect the trees, plants, decorative lighting, underground power cables and water pipes, any kind of display material strictly not permitted. To display on the street outside, you may follow the State/Local government regulations for the erection of any temporary hoardings/digital banners in Mayiladuthurai Municipality. Details of the government order concerned may be available on the district website, http://nagapattinam.nic.in.
Do you allow smoking ?
No; Smoking is not allowed anywhere inside Rani Mahal.
Do you allow alcohol ?
No; Alcohol is not allowed anywhere inside Rani Mahal.
Do you allow Fireworks ?
No; Fireworks is not allowed anywhere inside Rani Mahal. To avoid injury (risks of burns and wounds), pollution (toxic fumes), accidental fire, damage to trees and properties, both to the person operating them and to our guests.
